Performing can be done anywhere - as this opportunistic annual festival proves! Anywhere Festival makes it easy for performers to perform anywhere but a theatre, and for anyone to host or experience a performance in a space they wouldn’t expect. This year’s festival falls between Thursday 9 and Sunday 26 May. See B Movies: Live! at Heya Bar on 12 May, Salty Sea Dogs of Tall Tale Harbour at Concept on 16 May and The Bureau of Dodgy Dreams at Concept on 25 May for a different take on classic theatre. Visible Ink’s Open Studio is also giving visitors an opportunity to meet young and emerging artists, view their work, and create a community-developed piece.
