The sound of dial-up internet drove us crazy, but sounds from the ‘90s best artists had us living our best lives (and still do)! From 9pm until late on Saturday 6 July, make tracks for The Elephant Hotel and prepare to cut shapes with Britney Spears, NSYNC and more blaring through the speakers. There’ll be a prize for the best costume, a photo booth and ‘90s themed drinks and decor fuelling the nostalgia! What a time to be alive.
Lights, camera, Carnival! From 4pm on Sunday 7 July, a human wave of colour and energy will dance its way from Chinatown Mall, along Wickham Street and into Brunswick Street Mall celebrating the event that Rio de Janeiro is most famous for. After Carnival has wrapped up, samba your way over to Cloudland for the official afterparty and Australasian Samba Queen Competition from 6pm. Dance this way for more information!
