Body strength, brews and belly laughs at the Flying Cock
Like yoga? Love beer? Well, do we have the perfect night out for you! The Flying Cock has combined the two and are now hosting Beer Yoga nights! At the next session on Wednesday 3 May, come to the Cock, grab a beer and be guided through all kinds of yoga poses by experienced instructors. The beer will bless you with that extra kick of relaxation – you’ll be downward dogging like a pro!

If you’re not so flexible, on Thursday 31 May, the Flying Cock will also host Barre at the Bar –frosé, pilates, ballet and yoga – need we say more? If you’re a total newbie, no problem – classes cater for rookies, seasoned professionals and everybody in between.

Fitness not your forte? The Flying Cock have just started hosting a monthly comedy night called ‘You’re Joking’ – the next event is on Thursday April 19. Check out their socials for more information and ticketing.

Paint-and-sip at Brush and Barrel
Consider yourself a bit of an artist? Show off your skills at a paint-and-sip night at Brush and Barrel. Once you’ve booked a space, just turn up and meet your fellow painters, open your favourite BYO drink and create a visual masterpiece under the guidance of your instructor. The main aim of the night is to simply have fun and let the creative juices flow. If you’ve never dabbled in painting, you can be comforted in the knowledge that your instructor will run you through the artwork piece by piece.
